About

Anneloes Ouwehand is an Amsterdam based freelance fashion designer. For more than a decade she has worked in the fashionindustry as a trendwatcher, teacher, prints- and graphics designer, and illustrator.

Alongside these projects Anneloes creates her own collections, with made to measure items ranging from wedding dresses to swimsuits.

Currently she runs sportswear label LPRD, designing and making custom cycling and yoga outfits, with a touch of leopard print.

Work Experience

  • Owner and designer for label LPRD which creates premium quality sportswear, handmade and designed in Amsterdam. For this label I worked on Google Ads and search campaigns, SEO content and trafic, PR and social media and create, design and sew bespoke sportswear items.
  • Trend and color analyses of women’s- and menswear fashionshows for trend forecast agencies. This gives me distinct knowledge of the fashion industry, enables to spot short- and longlasting trends and the ability to transform the trends into undestandable drawings and illustrations.
  • Designing and creating high quality clothing for private customers, and Dutch fashion houses. I know how to sew a large variaty of materials and have excellent knowledge of (4-way) stretch fabrics. I work with industrial sewing machines and have good skill of drawing and ajusting patterns.
  • Graphic design and colour cards for several large fashion houses. Designing prints and artworks, creating forcasts for colors and products, curating inspirational moodboards, translating the forcasts into readable sketches and commercial products.
  • Designer and teacher. Fashion related teaching courses, projects and workshops in Amsterdam and Rotterdam, for both teenagers and adults.

In the more that 15 years that I have been working as a fashion designer, my work has been published in lots of different media, including:

  • Print publications in: Linda. Magazine, Elle, Glamcult, Nouveau and Pedala.
  • Online publications on: A Shaded View of Fashion Film, telegraaf.nl, bicycling.nl and fiets.nl.
  • Expositions and shows during: Amsterdam Fashion week, Fashionclash Maastricht and Vide Ton Sac.
